Isle of Man  ·  Handbuilt to order

Journeys
beautifully
made.

Bespoke campervan conversions. Handbuilt on the Isle of Man to a standard the industry rarely reaches — and never by accident.

"Built for those who understand that the journey is not a compromise.
It is the destination."

The Standard

A level of craft that only comes from doing fewer things, better.

Rock Hopper was founded by a craftsman with a background in high-specification construction and luxury interior joinery — the kind of work where walnut finishes have to be perfect, cabinetry has to be true, and there is no hiding behind volume.

That discipline transfers completely. The same exacting standards, the same network of trusted specialist trades, the same access to CNC precision — applied to a vehicle built to be lived in for years.

We build a small number of conversions each year. That is not a limitation. It is the point.

What we build

Not a kit. Not a template. Yours.

01

Interior calm

Oak, natural linen, honed stone and satin bronze. Materials chosen for how they age — warm, honest, and refined. Oak, natural linen, honed stone, satin bronze.

02

Off-grid capability

Solar, lithium, pressurised hot water, and heating specified for real independence — not just a weekend away. Engineered to work silently and reliably.

03

Built to last

Marine-grade construction throughout. Every Rock Hopper carries a structural warranty — because a van this carefully made should still be exceptional in a decade.

The life it enables

Wherever you go, you're already there.

A Rock Hopper is not a compromise between adventure and comfort. It is the end of that compromise — a space that is genuinely good to be in, whether parked on a headland in the Hebrides or a quiet lane in the Loire Valley.

Built for those who have stopped settling for what is available. Every detail considered. Every system specified for independence. Nothing generic.

The process

Simple. Transparent. Personal.

01

The conversation

An initial call to understand how you travel, what matters most, and the level of specification you have in mind. No obligation.

02

Design together

Layout, materials, systems. A written proposal with clear pricing. You approve every detail before a single panel is cut.

03

The build

Regular updates through a build of typically 8 to 12 weeks. Staged inspections at every key milestone — electrics, cabinetry, systems, finishing.

04

Handover

A full system walkthrough and documentation pack. Twelve months of aftercare as standard. You leave knowing every switch, valve and circuit.

Experience it before you commission it.

Rock Hopper operates a small rental fleet. Spend time in a finished conversion and understand the standard before committing to your own.
